Anna Cockrell is a 24-year-old hurdler from San Ramon, California. Her name has been in the news a lot lately for her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, where she was disqualified from the final of the 400m hurdles for a lane violation. But despite the disappointment of Tokyo, Anna bounced back and has been working hard to prepare for her second Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

At the recent USA Track and Field Championships, Anna finished third in the 400m hurdles, securing her spot on the Olympic team. She will be competing in the 400m hurdles and the 4x400m relay in Paris. Anna is a strong competitor and she has a chance to medal in both events.

After her disqualification in Tokyo, Anna could have given up. But she didn't. She showed her strength and determination by working hard and earning her spot on the Olympic team again. Anna is an inspiration to us all, and her story reminds us that anything is possible if we set our minds to it.
